Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity is a national charity working to ensure women, girls, and anyone with a period isn’t forced to face the indignity of period poverty when at risk of or experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, or poverty.
Through their biannual Dignity Drives and Dignity Vending Machines, they provide hundreds of thousands of period products to vulnerable people nationwide. They also collect bags filled with essential items through ‘It’s in the Bag’ to ensure the people they support receive a Christmas gift.
Share the Dignity is a strong advocate for menstrual equity. They helped remove the tampon tax in 2018, are currently working to ensure pads are provided to patients in hospital, and advocate for removing the shame and stigma around periods.
